We have actually known each other since 1982, but our first date wasn't until May of 2004, when I got the courage to ask Tony on a date. There were alot of walks in the park and countless hours talking on the phone before we realized that we were in love with each other. After a year and a half of dating, we drove to the coast for a much needed weekend alone! During dinner Tony "accidentally" dropped his napkin on the floor, when he knelt down to pick it up, he took my hand, gave me a diamond ring and asked " Will you please be my wife?", once I stopped crying I said yes.
Tony decided he wanted a big wedding and I knew that I wanted to be married outside, on the beach. We drove around Monterey with the reverend and found a small cove on 17 mile drive called "Seal Rock". We immediately invisioned our day. The wedding will take place on Saturday August 12 at 1:00 in the afternoon. The groom will be wearing a tuxedo and the bride will be wearing a beautiful dress but we encourage our guests to dress casual for a day on the beach. Break out those flip flops and hawaiin shirts and be prepared for a great time.
The reception will be immediately following the wedding. The bride and groom have arranged to have a bamboo oasis set up to block guests from the ocean wind, with tiki huts to accomodate the bar, the buffet, the cake and the D.J. Guests will enjoy many tastes from Grapes of Wrath, who will make sure that no ones glass is empty and no one is hungry. Dinner will be followed by dancing with Dj music provided by Sandy's brother (Bird) and his wife Maria.

There are many other places in Monterey that guests can stay, one of the websites you might find useful is montereydesign.com, which lists all the hotels in Monterey and the nearby area's. We have also made arrangements to cover the cost of guests entering 17mile drive for the day of the wedding.
We are so excited and cannot wait to begin our new life together as husband and wife, and we are so happy our families and friends will be there to share that special day with us. Thanks to all of you that gave your time, talent's and love to help us put this together, we couldn't have done it without you.
